There, she graduated summa cum laude in 2020, earning a minor in real estate and making it to the Dean’s List in six out of eight semesters. She was known for her sharp intellect, discipline, and deep curiosity about the world of hospitality and real estate.

On the morning of July 28, 2025, Julia arrived at work at the Rudin Management offices on the 33rd floor of 345 Park Avenue, a building that also houses the NFL headquarters.
At around 9:45 AM, a heavily armed man—Shane Devon Tamura, entered the building with a semi-automatic rifle. His actual target was the NFL office, but he mistakenly took the wrong elevator. Instead of going to the NFL floor, he ended up at Rudin Management.
The Killer: Who Was Shane Devon Tamura?
Shane Tamura was a former high school football player from Las Vegas. He had a history of mental health issues, paranoia, and a growing resentment toward the National Football League (NFL).
In notes and recordings found after his death, Tamura blamed the NFL for his deteriorating mental health, claiming he was suffering from CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy) a brain condition linked to repeated head trauma, commonly found in athletes.
