Camilo Ochoa Delgado, widely known as “El Alucín”, was a Mexican influencer and content creator from Sinaloa. He gained notoriety on social media by openly sharing stories about his past in organized crime, his kidnapping, and his time in prison. His controversial storytelling and luxurious lifestyle attracted large audiences but also placed him at the center of danger.
Camilo Ochoa – Early life
Camilo Ochoa Delgado was born in March 1982 in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. He came from a prominent business family—his uncle, Juan Francisco “Pancho” Ochoa, founded the famous El Pollo Loco restaurant chain.
In 2004, Camilo’s life changed dramatically when he was kidnapped by Los Zetas in Tamaulipas. His family paid a multi-million peso ransom for his release, an event that deeply shaped his life and future decisions.
Camilo Ochoa Career and Criminal Involvement
Following his kidnapping, Camilo became involved in organized crime. By 2014, he was associated with the Sinaloa Cartel, working as a plaza boss in Mazatlán under Dámaso López, known as “El Licenciado.”

In February 2015, he was arrested for carrying military-grade weapons and spent seven years in prison. He was released in April 2022.
After leaving prison, Camilo reinvented himself as a YouTuber through his channel “Soy Camilo Ochoa.” He shared raw accounts of his past—stories of his kidnapping, prison life, and the realities of cartel wars while also flaunting a flashy lifestyle.
By 2025, he had built a strong digital presence: 350,000+ YouTube subscribers and 210,000+ Instagram followers.
In January 2025, his name appeared on flyers distributed in Culiacán, accusing him of having ties with Los Chapitos, a faction of the Sinaloa Cartel led by the sons of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán.
