Amy Slaton has officially tied the knot. Amy and Brian Lovvorn exchanged vows in a Halloween-themed wedding in October, 2025 at the historic and allegedly haunted Talbott Tavern in Bardstown, Kentucky.
The ceremony echoed their shared love for spooky, unconventional romance — the bride wore Victorian-inspired elements, the ring had gothic touches, and the whole vibe was “haunted tavern meets dusty blue & white”.
In Amy’s words: “My wedding is a dream finally coming true.”
Amy rose to prominence as one half of the duo in the reality show 1000‑Lb Sisters, which chronicles the journeys of Amy and her sister Tammy as they navigate life, health, family, and fame.
Beyond the show, Amy has branched out — she speaks openly about her personal challenges, mental health, motherhood and transformation, getting support from her audience. For instance, a profile on her children and her mother-life journey shows how she shares her story with her fans.
With this wedding milestone, she indicated that she’s entering a new chapter: combining her media presence, family life and the next phase of her story with Brian and her kids.
Amy is the mother to two sons: Gage Deon Halterman and Glenn Allen Halterman, whom she shares with her ex-husband Michael Halterman. Gage was born in late 2020 (after Amy’s bariatric surgery). Glenn was born July 2022 via C-section.
Amy has spoken of them as her “miracle boys” and shares how motherhood has been both a joy and a major learning curve.
