Aramyan’s career spanned more than three decades, during which she became one of Armenia’s most recognized television and radio personalities. Starting in 1993 at the National Radio of Armenia, she led the Russian-language division and hosted social and cultural programs for the Armenian diaspora. Later, she became deputy editor-in-chief and created the popular show “At the Guest of Zara,” which transitioned to television as “Tasty Chat.”
From 2003 to 2018, Aramyan was a fixture on Armenia’s Second TV Channel, expanding her presence in broadcasting. She also appeared in over 300 television projects and a number of films, including Our Yard (1996) and Our Yard 2 (1998), and starred in stage productions and cultural programs throughout her life. In 2014, she was honored as an Honored Figure of Culture of Armenia.
Born on July 1, 1970, in Yerevan, Aramyan pursued education in journalism and Russian language at Yerevan State University, where she also edited the student newspaper. She married Artashes Gasparyan and was a devoted mother to her two children—daughter Elen Gasparyan and son Gurgen Gasparyan. Friends and colleagues remember her as energetic, warm, and deeply committed to Armenian arts and media.
Her passing has prompted an outpouring of tributes from fans and public figures who highlighted her contributions to Armenian culture and her influence on media in the region.
