Bill Oliver was known as an American football player and coach who born on November 1, 1939 in Epes, Alabama, U.S. From 1980 to 1983, he served as football coach at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and this university is public university in Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States. He also served in Auburn University.

Bill Oliver passed away on April 14, 2025 at the age of 85.
He attended The University of Alabama and played for Bear Bryant from 1959 to 1961 and won the national championship in senior season. He served as coach in high schools in Alabama. He also served secondary coach in 1966 under James Ralph “Shug” Jordan in Auburn. In 1980, he served as head coach at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He was defensive coordinator in United States Football League for Memphis Showboats. In May 2013, he joined the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame. In 1980, he served as Head coach for Chattanooga Moccasins football team, 1981 Chattanooga Moccasins football team (1981), 1982 Chattanooga Moccasins football team ( 1982 ), Chattanooga Moccasins football team ( 1983 ), Auburn Tigers football team ( 1998 ).
