The fundraiser exceeded expectations, raising over $80,000. Among the donors, his former teammate J.J. Watt made the largest contribution of $10,000. Sadly, Braman passed away on July 17, 2025.
Sean Stellato, Braman’s agent, described him as “a warrior in every sense” who fought both on the field and in life with “unshakable grit and heart.” He added that Braman’s passing leaves a void not just in football, but also in the spirit of every underdog who dared to fight.
J.J. Watt, his former Houston Texans teammate, donated $10,000 to Braman’s GoFundMe and later posted on social media:

Bryan Braman attended Shadle Park High School (~2002–2006), enrolled at the University of Idaho in 2006, transferred to Long Beach City College (2007–2008), and completed his studies at West Texas A&M University (2009–2010) with a major in Sports and Exercise Sciences.

Bryan Braman began his NFL career in 2011 as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Texans, where he gained attention for his explosive play on special teams and fearless attitude. He played three seasons with the Texans before signing with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2014.
He was Known for his long hair, high motor, and intensity, Braman became a core special teams player in Philadelphia. He was part of the Eagles’ Super Bowl LII championship team in 2017. After a brief stint with the New Orleans Saints and some time away from the league, he returned to the Eagles late in the 2017 season.
