Kellye Crockett biography: Kellye Crockett is an educator. She is known as the wife of American professional baseball player Dave Parker, who passed away on June 28, 2025, at the age of 74 due to complications of Parkinson’s disease. He was also known as “The Cobra,” and his full name was David Gene Parker.
Kellye Crockett has three children, and her husband was previously married to Stella Miller from around 1973 to 1978. They had three children named Dave Parker II, Danielle Parker, and Dorian Parker. After separating from Stella Miller, he married Kellye Crockett, whose full name is Kellye Crockett Parker. He had a total of six children.
He played for Major League Baseball as a right fielder from 1973 to 1991 and won two National League batting titles. He was known as the 1978 National League Most Valuable Player. He was a member of two World Series championship teams.
He earned $1 million per year, which made him the second professional athlete in earnings. He also signed a five-year, $5 million contract in January 1979. He grew up in Cincinnati near Crosley Field and learned how to play baseball in the stadium’s parking lots. He completed his schooling at Courter Tech High School. His father was Dick Parker, who was a shipping clerk.
