Eugen Doga was born in Mocra, Moldavian ASSR, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union.
He composed for the Soviet film “My Sweet and Tender Beast” He was one of the top 4 musical masterpieces of the 20th century. He composed music for over 200 films and TV productions, including: Lautarii (1972), Gypsies Are Found Near Heaven (1975) and Anna Pavlova (1983). He also worked as composer in various songs including “Codrii mei, frumoși”, “Te aștept” and “Ce te legeni.”
He debuted in 1963, with a string quartet.
Eugen Doga’s wife was Natalia Pavlovna Doga who is engineer. She graduated from the Moscow technological Institute of Natalia. They married in 1939. They had a daughter named Viorica Doga who is telivision director.
His father was Dmitry Fedorovich Doga and mother was Elizabeth Nikiforovna Doga. His Grandson is Dominique Doga.
