Fereydoon Abbasi born on 11 July 1958 in Abadan, Imperial State of Iran and his full name was Fereydoon Abbasi-Davani. He served as head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran from 2011 to 2013 and he also served in the Iranian Parliament. He comyhis PhD in nuclear physics.
He worked as professor of nuclear physics at Shahid Beheshti University and member of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). He also worked as nuclear researcher at the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran.
He supported Association of Islamic Revolution Loyalists.
