Gill James died: Australian politician, Gill James died on 28 May 2025 at the age of 90. She born on 6 December 1934 in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. She followed Tasmanian Labor Party. She elected to the Tasmanian Parliament in 1976 and won seat in Bass for the Labor Party and served from 11 December 1976 to 8 February 1986. She was first female cabinet minister in Tasmanian history.
