Joe Thompson is an English footballer player. He played as a midfielder. He born on 5 March 1989 in Bath, England. He joined Manchester United’s youth team but he failed to win a contract so he joined Rochdale Association Football Club and debuted on 2 May 2006 and played against Carlisle United. Initially, he lost various matches. In 2009–10 season, he played against Port Vale and won a man of the match. In 2010–11 season, he played against Barnsley and won the match from 1–0. He signed his first contract with Rochdale on 5 July 2007. In 3 August 2012, he signed two two-year deal with English Football League One.
