Jose Grinan biography: Jose Grinan was an American broadcast journalist who born on July 24, 1952, in Tampa, Florida. He also worked around 30 years for KRIV-TV (FOX 26) as anchor. Jose Grinan passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 72 on Monday afternoon. 
Jose Grinan’s wife is Kathy Griffin Townsend Griñán. He had five children, however his children name has not disclosed.
In 1993, he joined KRIV-TV (FOX 26) in Houston as the station’s first male morning show anchor. He retired from FOX 26 in June 2023. He served around 30 years in KRIV-TV. He served as a cinematographer in the U.S. Army, where he filmed documentaries. He was a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. Initially, he worked in El Paso, Texas, in 1975 as anchor. He also worked with Dive Pirates Foundation.
