His full name was Lugee Alfredo Giovanni Sacco who born on February 19, 1943, in Glenwillard, Pennsylvania. He studied music and voice when he attended in Moon Area High School. He also worked as student conductor of the choir and sang solos at holiday concerts. His music teacher was Frank Cummings who wanted to his student Lou Christie made her career in classical music.
At age 15 he met Twyla Herbert and he trained music in classically and his trainer was 20 years his senior.
After graduation from high school in 1961, he moved to New York City and worked as a session vocalist.
His wife is Francesca Winfield who is former UK beauty queen. His children are Bianca Lucia and Christopher W. Sacco.
