Early life and education
Ashish Chanchlani was born on 8 December 1993 in Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra. He grew up in a family that ran the Ashok Anil Multiplex, so cinema vibes were in his DNA. He completed his school education in Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra. He pursued civil engineering at Datta Meghe College, Navi Mumbai. He left the engineering program to focus full-time on his digital career. He joined the Barry John Acting Studio in Mumbai to learn acting.

Ashish launched his YouTube channel Ashish Chanchlani Vines in 2014, where he began uploading comedy videos and gained popularity. He received the Silver Button in 2015 (100k subs), the Gold Button in 2018 (1M subs), and the Diamond Button in 2019 (10M+). His channel gained 5 billion views as of June 2025.
