She passed away on April 25, 2025 in Neergabby, Western Australia at the age of 41. She passed away due to suicide at her home in Neergabby.
This is very sad moments because she fought against Sex trafficking networks and she also helped but she died due to suicide. She wanted to help helpless girl who trapped in Sex trafficking.
She shared a post on Instagram on 30 March 2025 that she had been in a serious car accident — a school bus hit her car at 110 km/h, which caused severe internal injuries and kidney failure.
She wrote, “This year has been the worst start to a new year, but I won’t bore anyone with the details but I think it important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can. I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology. I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know what they say about wishes. S**T in one hand and wish in the other & I guarantee it’s still going to be s**t at the end of the day. Thank you all for being the wonderful people of the world and for being a great part of my life. Godbless you all xx Virginia 😔🙏🦋.”

She again recreated organisation in November 2021 named Speak Out, Act, Reclaim (SOAR).
She married with Robert Giuffre in 2002. They had three children. Her husband was Australian martial arts trainer. She separated with her husband in 2025 due to some personal issues. She had a younger brother named Sky. In 2015, she founded a non-profit organization named Victims Refuse Silence.
