Daniel Williams biography: Daniel Williams was known as American drummer. He worked with metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada. In 2005, he founded of the metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada. He born in Dayton, Ohio, he began playing drums in sixth grade, starting with a snare in a high school band before joining a punk band with friends. He contributed to several of the band’s albums, including “Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord” (2006), “Plagues” (2007), “With Roots Above and Branches Below” (2009), “Dead Throne” (2011), “8:18” (2013), and the “Space” EP (2015).
On May 22, 2025, Daniel Williams sadly passed away in a plane crash in the Murphy Canyon area of San Diego. The small jet he was on, a Cessna 550, crashed early in the morning around 3:45 a.m. The crash killed several people, including Daniel and music agent Dave Shapiro. Just before the crash, Daniel had posted photos from inside the plane on Instagram.
His old band, The Devil Wears Prada, shared an emotional tribute on Instagram, saying, “No words. We owe you everything. Love you forever.”
