Alasdair MacIntyre die: Scottish-American philosopher, Alasdair MacIntyre died on 22 May 2025 at the age of 96 at 5:27 pm. His full name was Alasdair Chalmers MacIntyre. He completed his higher education from Queen Mary College, London. He earned his Master of Arts degree from the University of Manchester and from the University of Oxford.
He married three times. First time he married with Ann Peri in 1953 and separated in 1963. He married second time with Susan Margery Willans in 1963 and separated in 1977. He married third time with Lynn Sumida Joy in 1977.
After Virtue (1981) was his most acclaimed work, this book critiques modern moral philosophy and advocates for a return to Aristotelian ethics.
