Susie Chavass biography: Susie Chavass is known as the wife of guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Mick Ralphs, who passed away on 23 June 2025 at the age of 81 due to complications from a stroke.
She has two children and three stepchildren. Her husband founded two classic British bands, Bad Company and Mott the Hoople, with his friends.
Singer Paul Rodgers said, “Our Mick has passed, my heart just hit the ground. He has left us with exceptional songs and memories.… Our last conversation a few days ago, we shared a laugh, but it won’t be our last.… Condolences to everyone who loved him, especially his one true love, Susie. I will see you in heaven.”
He joined the Mod Doc Thomas Group in 1966. He founded Bad Company along with vocalist and songwriter Paul Rodgers from the band Free, and released their first album Can’t Get Enough, which was a superhit in the United States. His first solo album, Take This, was released in 1985. His second solo album was It’s All Good, and the third was That’s Life, released in 2003.
Bad Company performed a short run of European festival dates in 2012. The band released more than 20 superhit albums.
In 2013, he released I Should Know Better with the Mick Ralphs Blues Band, and in 2016, released If It Ain’t Broke.
