Serge Fiori died: Canadian musician Serge Fiori died on June 24, 2025, at the age of 73 in Saint-Henri-de-Taillon, Quebec, Canada.
He was the vocalist and guitarist for Harmonium, a progressive rock band from Quebec. He played guitar, piano, and flute. He grew up in the Little Italy district of Montreal.
He began performing with a ballroom orchestra.
He was working as a professional musician at the age of 18 and began writing his own songs. He recorded albums including Harmonium (1974), Les cinq saisons (1975), and L’heptade (1976) with the progressive rock group.
He worked as a songwriter for other artists, namely Diane Dufresne, Nanette Workman, and stand-up comic Yvon Deschamps. He released a solo album, Serge Fiori, in 2014.
In 2018, he collaborated with Louis-Jean Cormier on Seul ensemble.
He recorded albums with Harmonium including Harmonium (1974), Les cinq saisons (1975), L’heptade (1976), and Harmonium en tournée (1980).
He recorded the album Deux cents nuits à l’heure (1978) with Fiori-Séguin.
He also worked as a solo artist and recorded albums Fiori (1986), Gayatri (1994), Maha Mrityunjaya (1994), and Shiva (1995).
