Raja Jackson, the 25-year-old son of former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, has been arrested and charged with a felony following a violent incident at a Los Angeles pro-wrestling event that left fellow performer Stuart Smith, known as Syko Stu, seriously injured. The attack happened on August 23, 2025, during a KnokX Pro Wrestling show when Raja entered the ring and slammed Smith to the mat before delivering a series of punches while he lay unconscious. The assault, captured on a livestream and quickly spread on social media, prompted other wrestlers to intervene.
Smith was rushed to the hospital with extensive injuries, including fractures in both jaws, a broken maxilla bone, severe facial trauma, multiple lost teeth, and a lacerated lip. He was treated for several days before being released and is now recovering at home. According to his family, he remains in good spirits but faces a long recovery involving surgeries and rehabilitation.
The LAPD confirmed Raja’s arrest this week, charging him with felony assault and setting bail at $50,000. Authorities are reviewing witness statements and footage as part of their ongoing investigation. Reports indicate the incident may have been triggered by a backstage altercation earlier in the day, where Smith allegedly struck Raja with a beer can after mistaking him for staff. Hours later, the violence unfolded in the ring.
The incident has sparked outrage in the wrestling and MMA communities. Rampage Jackson condemned his son’s behavior in a public Instagram statement, writing: “I’m extremely disappointed in my son’s actions. Raja dishonored himself and our family name. Violence outside of competition is never acceptable. He must face the consequences of his choices. Jail time, community service, therapy whatever it takes, I support it. We will stand by him as family, but he needs to take responsibility.”
I want to clear up the misinformation about my son Raja. I’ve been confirmed that the wrestler ( Stewart Smith aka Syko Stu) is awake and stable. Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith’s match, Raja was told that he could get his “payback”in…

KnokX Pro issued a public statement condemning Raja’s act:
“What was supposed to be a planned and agreed-upon wrestling spot, turned into a selfish, irresponsible act of violence… We apologize to our patrons and fans.”
