Filip David biography: Filip David was known as Serbian writer and screenwriter. He born on 4 July 1940 in Kragujevac, Kingdom of Yugoslavia. In 2015, he received NIN Award. In 1987, he received Andrić Prize for his his short story. He worked as writer in several television dramas.

He passed away on 14 April 2025 at the age of 84 due to serious illness.
He born on Jewish family. She completed her graduation in Faculty of Philology at the University of Belgrade. He also studied in Academy of Theatre, Film, Radio, and Television under the University of Arts in Belgrade.
He also worked as editor in Serbian Broadcasting Corporation. In 1985, he founded Independent Writers. He was also founded literary society “Belgrade Circle” in 1990.
He also worked as writer for several television dramas, books of essays, short story collections and novels.His short story collections are Bunar u tamnoj šumi, Zapisi o stvarnom i nestvarnom, Princ vatre and Sabrane i nove priče. His novels are Hodočasnici neba i zemlje, San o ljubavi i smrti and Kuća sećanja i zaborava. His Books of essays are Fragmenti iz mračnih vremena, Jesmo li čudovišta and Svetovi u haosu.
