Jen Affleck and her professional dance partner Jan Ravnik were eliminated from Dancing with the Stars during the Halloween Night episode that aired on October 28, 2025. The pair delivered a contemporary routine to Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do,” which earned a total judges’ score of 34 out of 40. Despite also earning bonus points during the night’s “Monster-thon” dance marathon, their combined score wasn’t enough to save them from elimination, placing them seventh on the leaderboard.
Jen Affleck said, “I feel just so grateful and I’m so grateful we were able to end off on an amazing note. Um, I really worked hard, not only this whole journey, but especially uh especially uh with the dance that we did tonight. And yeah, I’m just I feel like it was our best performance yet. I’m grateful we were able to go home on a good note that’s important.”
After the results were announced, Affleck expressed her gratitude for the experience, saying the competition had been a personal milestone and something she would cherish while sharing the journey with her children in the future. Ravnik, a newcomer to the DWTS pro lineup who has previously toured with major artists, thanked fans for their support and said he was proud of how far they had come in the competition.
Their exit came amid a wave of online discussion surrounding Ravnik’s debut season. Recently, former DWTS pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy had publicly questioned Ravnik’s qualifications on a podcast, which led Affleck to defend her partner on TikTok, calling the criticism “slander.” The incident sparked debate among fans, with many rallying behind the pair for their dedication and chemistry on stage.
Following their elimination, reactions on social media were divided — while some praised Affleck’s steady improvement and Ravnik’s creative choreography, others felt the judges’ decision was fair based on the competition’s overall standard. With the season heading into its next round, the focus now shifts to the remaining couples and their performances as the race for the Mirrorball Trophy continues.
